Your everyday continuity is the cloud database: signed in, every change is synced to your household's shared copy (see Sync further down this page). What's below is the safety net for everything the cloud can't help with — an account problem, a bad edit synced everywhere, or Cloudflare itself. Saved backups (including the daily auto-backup, which keeps the last 3 days) live in this browser’s IndexedDB, alongside your live entries and outside the small limit the browser used to impose — so backups can never crowd out your data. Use Download JSON periodically for a copy that survives anything.
